PIPFF3000 Flange Facer

The PIINC PIPFF3000 Flange Facer is a heavy-duty portable flange facing machine designed for precision machining and repair of large-diameter flanges in demanding industrial environments. Its robust structural design provides stable support for machining accuracy, while high-precision rotary bearings help deliver smooth, consistent rotational movement throughout the machining range.

With a 45–120 inch facing range and a 42–110 inch clamping range, the PIPFF3000 is suitable for large flange maintenance and on-site machining applications. It can be mounted internally or installed directly on a blind flange using the mounting base, providing flexibility for different workpiece configurations.

Available with pneumatic or hydraulic drive options, the PIPFF3000 combines automatic radial and axial feed with multiple alignment adjustment methods to support efficient flange repair and machining operations.

Key Features and Benefits

1. Heavy-Duty Structure for Precision Machining

The robust machine structure is engineered to provide strong support during machining. Large, heavy-duty, high-precision industrial-grade rotary bearings help maintain stable, smooth rotation across the machine’s operating range.

2. Large-Diameter Machining Capability

With a facing range of 45–120 inches, the PIPFF3000 is designed for machining and restoring large industrial flange surfaces in applications where precision and reliable machine support are important.

3. Flexible Mounting and Alignment

The machine supports internal mounting and direct mounting on blind flanges using a mounting base. Multiple alignment adjustment methods help operators position the machine for the required machining setup.

4. Automatic Radial and Axial Feed

Automatic feed in both radial and axial directions supports controlled machining movement and helps improve operational efficiency.

5. Pneumatic or Hydraulic Drive Options

The PIPFF3000 is available with pneumatic and hydraulic drive options to suit different operating requirements. It can achieve a maximum cutting depth of 2 mm (0.079 in) on flanges without bolt holes or 0.5 mm (0.020 in) on flanges with bolt holes.

6. Quick Setup and Installation

The machine features independently designed quick-assembly components to simplify mounting and setup. According to the supplied product information, an experienced operator can complete installation within approximately one hour when following the appropriate operating procedure.

7. Expandable Machining Configurations

Optional accessories extend the machine’s application range, including a tube sheet mounting kit for heat exchanger repair, a milling head with distributor hoses for rotary milling, and a back-facing kit for machining the rear faces of heat exchanger flanges in a single setup.
