The manual plug valve is engineered in distinct configurations utilizing cylindrical or conical sealing pairs to ensure high-pressure flow control reliability:
Cylindrical Plug Valve: Features a cylindrical valve core matched with the cylindrical surface of the valve seat. It commonly employs four sealing methods: sealant sealing, plug expansion, O-ring sealing, and eccentric plug wedging sealing rings.
Conical Plug Valve: Features a conical valve core matched with the conical hole surface of the valve seat to form a conical surface sealing pair. The leakage gap between sealing pairs is easily adjusted by pressing the valve core deeper into the seat, allowing the plug to continue rotating even when the spool remains in close contact with the seat.
